Is it possible to regenerate the gums?

The quick answer is: Not naturally.
Any recession of our gums caused by our bad habits is permanent. As much as we try to improve our oral hygiene, and even if the state of our mouth improves, our gums will not regenerate on their own.
However, it is possible to carry out artificial regeneration through a surgical process called "gum grafting".
This process consists of taking tissue from another location (normally the palate) and relocating it to the areas affected by the retraction to return them to their original state.
This will only give us a second chance, always being the best option to take proper care of our mouth to avoid the need to use these “emergency” resources.
And you, do you suffer from receding gums? Would you like to know more about this process?
